About Coaching
About Coaching
My approach to Leadership Coaching is centred on supporting the client to reach their leadership goals by addressing any personal or professional obstacles that may be holding the leader back.
I partner with the leader in a thought provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their leadership potential and create transformational change. Understanding what motivates leaders’ willingness to embrace change and go above and beyond is fundamental.
My role is not to provide therapy or to give advice when coaching.
My experience is based on those leaders who are up for a challenge or a facing a major change including:
- Delivering reform, results, planning and change management
- Personal and life issues impacting performance
- Executive team culture
- Governance models, Executive and Board relationships
- Interview preparation, career progression and planning
- Stakeholder engagement and management

Sessions
Leadership Coaching Sessions
A coaching session is a one hour confidential session designed to facilitate the creative development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy or plan for achieving those goals.
Around 6- 10 sessions can help build effective and sustained leadership change. Building a strong and trusting rapport in the coaching experience is essential. For all coaching sessions I will abide by the Code of Ethics set out by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
In effective coaching sessions a client leader would:
- come to the session with a particular area in mind that they would like to focus on
- delve deeply into what is challenging them and sensitive areas that impact on their leadership, relationships, performance and results
- use tools to support self-awareness and changes in mindset
- develop a partnership with the coach that is trusting, authentic and courageous
- reflect and commit to actions and follow up
